Chemistry in Food?
Chemistry is probably the form of chemistry that most of us are most familiar with, although we may not think of it in chemical terms unless you happen to be a chemist. So all of these phenomena that you were talking about, it takes its place on a very microscopic scales or even in a way that is not even visible to the visible light. And so what sort of technologies help us look into this invisible chemical world? Well, we have been able to do that in to some degree since the early 20th century. It was really then that we started to get techniques that could magnify or to that extent.
