The Basic Moderate Stage of Alzheimer's

In the mild stage of dementia, people are still insightful into most things. They know that they're losing certain aspects of themselves and that's difficult. Once they forget that they forget, they can have a relatively benign adjustment to a deeper form of forgetfulness. Then there is a more advanced stage where typically people become mute or no longer ambulate. At that point, they probably have on average a couple of years to live.
