What Are TELIC Verbs?

For TELIC verbs, we can have achievements which are near instantaneous events like find, reach, die. And you can have accomplishments which are long lasting TELIC events such as build a house or paint a painting. ATELIC, you can have semi-factive. And that is just fancy Latin for done once. So sneeze, knock, cough. Another ATELIC is activity that has long duration. And then finally, we have states, things like to know, to love. Some people say that they don't have TELICITY and other people say that it does.
