The Black Axe Gang - Is There a Risk?
There are fewer than 20 of the Black Axe gang that we're aware of in Ireland. It's actually a very attractive type of crime for a well-organized gang, because logistically it's hard to track people. As a network of fraudsters, this is a new frontier, really, in Ireland,. And the way they're organized is a chip above what I've seen before. Other gangs are involved in lots of other types of crimes.
