Are the Elites the Problem?
Right-wing populism aims perhaps to impose some kind of authoritarian or even fascist social order. The appeal early on is that, yes, the elites are the problem. And in this case, if you can paint the elites as your political opponents, then they should be excluded. So yeah, it's a populist message that appeals to right-wing sentiments and we have seen it throughout history.
