In 1966 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an administrative assistant whose name has been lost to history asked her boss to leave the room while she shared some personal matters with a new friend. The program was called Eliza, and Weisenbaum wrote it to imitate a Rogerian psychotherapist. It spends most of its time saying: "Tell me more about that"
