The Differences Between the West and the United States

I think using this term, the West, suggests that there's more unity in that grouping than there is. And it sort of undermines the argument that we're in a multipolar system and countries are going to do what's best for them. So I'm wondering whether Millaband and others should even use the term at all. We've seen Macron and others question the degree to which their interests are even aligned with the United States.
