The Art of Jim Brankoozie

Jim's early life in his early career he goes through the slate and he comes out and he gets a job at the Tate. This is kind of a period of extraordinary frustration because obviously he's got an eye and he's got real taste and he knows what he likes. I think when we read histories of that period now, oh my goodness taste was so moribund you know if you went to the Tate in the 1920s actually what was on display was probably the Lord Latins and the Landseers. It would be a great deal more exciting if Jim had been allowed to have his way it is.
