Historian Stephen Cockin used an analogy to explain the Ukraine conflict. He said that if you own a house, and it has 10 rooms, let's say I barge in and take two of those rooms away. And from those two rooms, I'm wrecking your other eight,. You're trying to beat me back. Are you winning, or am I winning? Unfortunately, that's the situation we're in.
