How Do Bile Acid Sequesterings Work?

The first drugs I mentioned niacin and clofibrate failed to reduce cardiovascular. While alone came the first published randomized perspective trials, a primary prevention trial called the lipid research clinic coronary primary prevention. And what they did is they knew a class of drugs that are called bile acid sequesters. That means if you're on a med that binds the bile acids, you're going to excrete them in the stool. They're not going back to the liver. The one that's most commonly used nowadays is called a seven lamb. It just combined to a lot more bile acids and colostere mean.
