The COPIS instrument by Smith et al. that was published in CBE, Life Sciences Education is a really great way to start. If you're already doing a ton of active learning and you want to refine your techniques, that's not going to be the best place to go. Maybe the portal instrument is going to allow you to dive more deeply into different types of active learning. So I think that having that network of support is really important.
