The Importance of Imagining
Fundamentalism and literalism, which are closely aligned, if not in fact, they're the default option for a lot of people because you don't have to think. And so Hillman saying literalism and fundamentalism is always a form of imagining. Jung says somewhere, the psyche is image. Well, that feels a little claustrophobic. I mean, what's on the other eye? I'm not, but no, you take it seriously and you realize, oh, wow, kind of all his images. But so I remember we're stable than others, you know, like my rock.
