Terry Child's Death Trap

In 1985, Terry met a new girlfriend, 22-year-old Melanie Lee Harreford. They spent most of their days on cocaine and meth. But that summer, the couple started spending time with a 17-year- old runaway named Lois Sagala. In early August, while Melanie and Terry were in the midst of a drug binge, Lois joined them at their house. What she saw might have been troubling. She seemed tense, worried that someone would connect him to the robbery. From now on, Terry would be a lot less careful and a lot more sloppy.
