One of the most fun mental model effects that I learned last year was how you can get laid more easily by going out with a guy who looks similar, but slightly more ugly than you. The problem is if me and you go out together, no one's confusing me for you. What you need to find is a slightly more ugly, shorter, fatter Asian. And yeah, that anchoring effect was something that I read about last year, which was hilarious.
