How to Be Careful With Your Side Projects
Some of the best stuff you learn happens because you went outside your intended zone, right? Like you stumble across something. That sounds like knowledge to me. You're talking about learning things like new concepts, new paradigms, new ways of doing things. So I think that's the real takeaway here. When we talk about being careful with your side projects is to set realistic expectations of what you want to get out of that side project and hold yourself to it. And if you're not disciplined in those prototypes, you got sometimes garbage code out there supporting real life production.
