The Role of Roy in Menken's Election

I think we've certainly seen at least a little bit that high ranking Democratic operatives, they're compromised to an extent. But I do think that there was something jarring about the episode in that it was so sincere coming from the creators of the show. It's like maybe this is what the whole show has been pointing to the whole time. And then Roman seems actually purely evil to the point where I sort of felt disgusted with myself forever enjoying him or liking him or having empathy with him.
