Stupid Syphilis in Macon County Blacks
Doctors will not tell the black test subjects that they have syphilis. They will observe the disease as it runs its course, almost totally, unimpeded by medical intervention. The experiment will be presented to test subjects as an extension of the rosenwald fund treatment programme. Doctor eugene dibble has worked hard these past seven years to insure that tuskegee stands as a monument to black ment and prosperity. Dibble recognizes that he must do all he can to propeltuskegee into the future. It's nearly 19 33, and if black people are to progress in this country, et must not bemade nicely.
