The Bible Is a Multi-Valent Text of Diverse Voices

The Bible is a book of diverse voices. It's not a 10-point pamphlet, you know, there are two very different histories of Israel. I think it's remarkable that we have those two testimonies, and neither one is complete nor are they mutually exclusive. So rather than a kind of rule book or rather than this sort of centralized kind of inert authority, Scripture is a collection of testimonies.
