A lot of libraries are dynamically linked. If you need, open SSL on Mac OS, like some Git crates require, then that you just have to bring your own because nobody has it installed. The Rust Foundation is forming Rust like a team to improve the security for us. And I've written this big long document detailing all the issues I'm aware of and send it to the foundation. They got funding to actually make this happen, I believe from JFrog. So yeah, we'll see what comes of it.
