Never assume you know all there is to know about your audience, or that the strategy and tactics you are using to day are guaranteed to succeed to morrow. The world is naturally chaotic, and usually more chaotic than we think. So take precautions and spend as much time learning as you can. Speak to your customers, run tests to challenge your hypotheses and read up around the subject to learn more. It won't guarantee success, but it's definitely better than the alternative.
