The Divergence in Productivity in the United States
There are 25 states that have below average productivity... ...and below average productivity growth. And we find that there are effectively seven states that have above average productivity and had above average productivity growth for the past 10 years or so. The broad dynamic here is that we have increasing divergence in the productivity level of a lot of different states across the U.S.
