The Correlation Between IQ Scores and Job Performance

In an interview with David Deutsch Brett Patel challenges him on his views. He says IQ scores are heavily correlated with job performance school performance income, lack of crime, and even health IQ is clearly measuring some underlying trait that determines your effectiveness across a broad range of cognitively demanding tasks. In the same interview he also advances a hardware theory as a competitor to the universal explainer theory. The real problem with trying to argue over intelligence is. Some people just perform better at cognitively demanding task. That's what I call intelligence. It still exists as a concept, even if you don't want to call it intelligence. And there's something more going on here.
