The Death of a Dead Person

The film opens with Quinn's charred cadaver arriving at the hospital. The hematologist Karen Jensen, played by and Boucher Wright, is skeptical that the blood she's looking at actually came out of a dead person. She says the red blood cells are by convex, which is impossible. There are in fact medical conditions that cause red blood cells to become shaped more like a sphere.
