Is There a Demand for Virtual Democracy?

I do think there is a demand for crazy on the internet that we have to grapple with. We haven't done a very good job in training this next generation to participate, other than virtually and in a fairly shallow way. The single biggest predictor of whether you're a regular voter, et cetera, is did you participate in student council, boy scouts, girl Scouts. And that's true for young people. It's true for all of us. I'm spending more time thinking about this through the foundation because i work with young people from across the country and around the world who are working on climate change, racial justice.
