I think people are unprepared for the possibility of a normal government that is merely incompetent within the standard parameters of uselessness. If and when we ever reach that stage it is just going to blow everybody's mind. Who knows what Phoenix will now rise from the smoldering political slurry pit that has been dug for the country over the last few years by the Conservative Party. For those of you who don't remember Boris Johnson, his odds to be next prime minister swooped down was from about 18 to 1 to 3 to 1 in just minutes on Thursday afternoon. You might think that in normal circumstances such a candidate would not stand a Snowball's chance in hell but normal circumstances no longer exist
