Ecological Economics - I Drew a Doughnut

Economy is a sub system of the living world. Leave no one falling short on the essentials of life. Don't overshoot the life support systems of our planetary home. Let that be the 20 first century economic goal. And then let's design the markets and the tools and the government interventions and all conomic systems in service of that. That's the fundamental move of ecological economics, which is the only kind of economics that makes sense to me. It's economics practised on planet earth, where's the rest of it happening?
