Preaching Between Two Worlds
The challenge is to declare eternal truth that never changes, and apply them in a way that's always changing. What'schanged is believers know no more about the bible than non believers. Forty years ago, a christian might me might be biblically literate. Today i assume a christian is biblicality illiterate. So they both have to be dealt with at the same area. As i said, there's both a then and a now in preaching. And it's like walking a tight rope. It's very, very easy to fall off either side.
