The Beauty of Layer Cakes
I'm very inspired by you know seasonal ingredients and things that feel unexpected in the genre of pastry which is obviously stuff that like we're seeing so much more now with cakes. I wanted it to reflect the reality of like I just made this in my kitchen and it's not perfect and I think there's a certain kind of beauty in in that look too. My style will definitely keep evolving and I'm very inspired like you were saying by the sensibility of it fits perfectly too in a way. It was really fun to be able to play around with all of this stuff, especially when they brought in flowers from the bodega drenched in pesticides but also tiny tomatoes on the
