For me, it's helpful to be kind of skeptical of these things other people tell us with certainty or generalizations. I try to quote a lot of studies and kind of really understand the field that I'm talking about. And one of the big teaching lessons of that process has been really coming to terms with the way that our body of knowledge changes over time.
