The Seaweed Trail Explains How Monteverde Could Exist
The site at Monteverde is about as far from Alaska as you can get. Scientists have developed a new theory of how it came to be there. They believe early people traveled by boat down the Pacific coast instead of crossing the Bering Strait. The seaweed trail would provide food resources that didn't change, they say.
