The Devil's Brood

The first Plantagen king came to the throne in 1154 when Steven died and he ruled for quite a long time. Henry kind of followed the example of previous French kings where he tried to give his sons each some control over some land while he was still ruling. He had Henry the young king who he was giving some power to. And then we have John Lackland who is their son who had absolutely no land and probably resented that forever, which might explain a lot of things.
