Senn: There are a lot of difficult questions around here and that loss of domestic manufacturing capacity over time is definitely something I've been seeing more and more lamented lately. He says the structure of technology drives inexorably towards the most economically efficient outcomes, but the ultimate end state will increasingly be a matter of politics. Senn: Good policy has to be made and has to get through almost by accident, the political process. And what we can say for sure is that startups are no good. We don't have huge lobbying budgets. We're not having lunch with congressmen and senators are flying them on our planes. So thoughtful policy has to emerge sort of by accident.
