Strong interactions aren't electrostatic, that's because they're stronger than electro magnetism. When you look at a proton, it has three velance corks. Two of those corks have a plus two thirds electric charge. One of them has a negative one thir electric charge. O charges not repel each other because strong interactions holding them together are stronger than electromagnetism. It's literally all matters held together with electrics.
