Law and the European Expansion
There's a big debate among legal scholars about the tionship between no lawand, in particular, industrialization. The development of law helped that latter process, or whether they went side by side. It was a period of the strengthening of national governments as well as oversea's expansion. For a law to be legitimate, it almost needs to be a bit cumbersome to make and unmake,. like i sort of, you need a process. Is there a sense that it the ease of making laws is related to their legitimacy?
