Social Media and the Capitalist Inner Critic

We know we're in the presence of a capitalist inner critic when we measure a day and a week in terms of how much did I get done. That's not what determines the wealth or the value of a day. We have internalized capitalist concerns and mistaken them for our own values. When we need to relax and enjoy life, it's seen as some kind of indulgence. It tells us we should have done things better.
