I think it would be really fun to just really work for an ingredient company as a technical sales rep and visit customers. I think working for raw material supplier would be kind of cool because you'd be actually doing chemistry. One of the depressing things about becoming a chemist is that you don't do a lot of chemistry. Hair color is one of the rare places where chemistry actually comes.
