Is There a Causative Relation Between Atrial Fibration and Stroke?
In quite some patients, a stroke happened before interfibilation occurred. And so that made us think that maybe it's not interfibilation as a cause of stroke, but there is something going on in the atrial. So maybe there is no causative relation between stroke and atrial fibrillation, but it's more two different outcomes of the same disease process within the atrium. You can think along these lines also for atrial sclerosis linking to atrial Fibrillation.
