Having a Foundational Understanding Is a Powerful Asset
i found it easier and kind of a natural evolution to get into the leadership and management of this stuff, rather than the actual doing. The challenge i had with that is maintaining a feeling of relevance ashe around me got smarter. I could do better work if i was surrounded by people whowre weigh better stuff than i was. So i've personally found it easier than others i've spoken to, to sort of be the hands off rope puller. And then i've seen tremendous engineers with terrific talent just fail flat when you put a tame underneath them.
