The Role of NYCHA in the Consent Decree Process

The day to day operations decisions, direction of NYCHA is left to NYCHA Lisa and her team. The federal government seems to at the moment view their role as being certainly compliance and oversight, but they are a partner. They're not an enforcer. If things go wrong, that's going to be a different story. You know, luckily that hasn't happened since the consent decree went into place. And so the folks are very happy with the progress.
