The Story of Henry Malasan
Henry malasan was diagnosed with trama induced epileptic seizures when he was 27 years old. A surgeon removed part of his brain that produced the seizures, including his hippocampus which is a small sea horse shaped region deep in the middle of the brain. Henry still remembered who he was and could recall memories from his childhood up until his surgery. He also had other types of memory or learning that were completely intact. Scientists were puzzled by henry's condition, and they were eager to learn what could from this unusual case.
