The Signs of the Kingdom

All the miracles of Jesus find their interpretation at least in part from this, that they are manifestations of the kingdom power. It is a mistake to think that Jesus looked upon them exclusively as signs authenticating his mission. He rebukes the people because they can interpret the signs of the weather but cannot interpret the Signs of the times. The forces which will revolutionize heaven and earth are already at work.
