The Importance of Masking

When you are masking, the benefit to me was that I was always observing and trying to see beneath the surface of where people did have enough depth for me to invest in them. And it helped me recognize the impact of their gifts. So there's a, there's a immense empathy that I can offer when people say, especially now in the work that I do being working with nonfiction authors. When I share openly now, this is what happened. It just opens everyone's doors because the shit we don't talk about drives me crazy.
