How I Become an Expert in iOS
I worked on Yahoo mail mobile app. And that's when I kind of deepened my knowledge in our OS. We were rewriting the entire mail app as well. So we were architecting the entire system from scratch thinking about design architecture, design patterns. Over the course of two years, I became an expert in iOS. In between, before joining Facebook, I went on a backpacking trip in Europe for two months. It made perfect sense for me to be joining Facebook because Facebook is a company about people.
