Tie is an electrical engineer and licensed electrician from south Wales. He went all electric at the time because he thought it would be safer for his children to live in a house that was powered by electricity rather than gas. The upfront cost of having two grid connections and then having two sets of appliances etc just didn't make sense to him, says tie.
