A lagging in like the stack of note cards is a lagging indicator as to whether I have been doing the practice. And if I get to caught up with speaking or podcasts or writing, then that's an issue for now. The other part for me that has been a sort of it wasn't intentional but it's been very, very helpful is I started this daily email in 2016 where I send out one email about so philosophy every day.
