The DOD gives lip service to wanting to engage venture capital. But until they start buying nine digit or even eight digit, you know, things from new ventures, whether they're startups or scale ups, it's bullshit. And investors are not someone who will wait around for that. The same should happen in A&S. If Bill LaClan continues to run all the existing contracts we have, but there should be someone else’s in charge of building 21st century arsenals with new vendors.
