The Story of David Avenging People

Hannah's song of Thanksgiving in first Samuel two begins as a praise to God for her miraculous pregnancy. And now we are at the end of the book with some stories of David, not the least of which is a song of Thanksgiving of his own. So all's well that ends well and these two songs are bookends to the story of David as a whole. It's turning out great.
