The Literary Artistry of Proverbs 31: You Call Her a Warrior Woman

I took a class with Bruce Waltke here at Regent when I was a student and he's obviously, as well done a lot of work in Proverbs. He had contracted to do the new international commentary and the Old Testament for Proverbs. After 10 years into working on it, he started reading around literary theory about like, this is sort of Robert Alter stuff coming out. It really blew my mind that he was willing to not scrap 10 years of work, but really go back to the drawing board after 10 years and re look at the whole book. And then sort of produced his commentary out of that.
