The Otton Rat Trial

The vicar approved that motion, and for some number of sundays after, priests at every church throughout burgundy read out before their congregations an official summons for all the rats to come to court. We don't know the eventual conclusion of the otton rat trial but we can start to make a lot of inferences about the workings of mediaeval animal courts writ large.
