Marriage in a State of Pure Nature Would Signify the Union of Christ in the Church

In a state of pure nature, marriage would potentially signify the union of God with his people or the union of Christ in the church. In the old law, we could say the natural institution of marriage is so to speak caught up and included within the covenant relationship. But then it seems to me every other marriage outside of that,. excuse me, every other marriage beyond that would have signified it less perfectly than Adam and Eve did. That's the purpose of their being male and female.
